Welcome to my blog. There are a few things that you should know about me as we embark upon this semi-literary adventure:
- I am the proud mama to my two little loves, Peyton and Preston
- I am very lucky to have a large extended family who entertain me on a daily basis
- I am a widow. I lost my husband, the love of my life, to esophageal cancer in April 2011.
I decided to start a blog to chronicle the adventures (and sometimes misadventures) of my sons and I in many different ways; from getting healthy (both physically and mentally) to organizing and beautifying our spaces; trying new and exciting recipes and mixy-mixing with my boys; and in some way helping to bring increased knowledge of esophageal cancer, whose diagnosis is the fastest growing of all cancers.
